Image Processing - KTP appointment

 

In combination with University of Surrey Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences, we are offering an exciting opportunity of a career involving the development of broadcast video processing equipment.

 

You will be employed as a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) Associate, modelling existing hardware and refining and researching image processing algorithms as part of a team developing new products. This is a rare opportunity, involving substantial training opportunities and benefits associated with a KTP, to gain industrial exposure to the world of broadcast electronics and analytical techniques in the world of image processing.

 

The post is for a period of up to 36 months, with the possibility of employment at  InSync beyond this.  Ideally, you will be a post doc with an engineering, physics, maths or computer science background, with some experience in image processing or related discipline, and with experience in computer modelling. You need to be highly self-motivated with good initiative and interpersonal skills.

 

The successful candidate should be available to start the project as soon as possible after the closing date, and have established that they are eligible to work in the UK for the duration of the project.

Production Assistant (Part-time)

 

To work in our busy production area assembling professional broadcast equipment. You will have good soldering skills and an ability to work with surface-mounted components.
